Does anyone know of any really good thanksgiving pie recipes?

I really like custard pies and my boyfriend likes pumpkin pie. Does anyone know any really good recipes for these 2 kinds of pies?? I really want to make like a double layer pumpkin pie but I am having a hard time finding a not -so-complicated recipe. Any help would be great..THANKS!Does anyone know of any really good thanksgiving pie recipes?
Pumpkin Custard Pie





6 eggs


2 one pound cans pumpkin


1 cup brown sugar


1 cup sugar


2 teaspoons cinnamon


1 teaspoon ginger


1 teaspoon salt


1/3 teaspoon nutmeg


1/4 teaspoon ground clove


1 1/3 cup milk


1 cup heavy cream





Pour into two 12 inch pie crusts, bake at 350 for 75 minutes.Does anyone know of any really good thanksgiving pie recipes?

Paula Deen's Pumpkin Pecan Pie


Ingredients


3 eggs


1 cup dark corn syrup


1/2 cup sugar


4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) melted butter


1 cup canned pumpkin


1 teaspoon vanilla


1 cup chopped pecans


1 9-inch unbaked pie shell


Whipped cream


Yields: 6-8 servings


Preparation


Preheat oven to 350掳F.


With a hand beater, beat eggs well. Beat in corn syrup, sugar, butter, pumpkin and vanilla until well-blended. Arrange pecans in bottom of

Now, I have never tried this recipe, so I'm not sure of the complication level and the turn out, but it looks really, really tasteful!
